DUNEDIN MARKETS. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report thab prices ruled as under ab their auction sale on Monday : Owing to tbo fact that most of tbe produce merchants and grain buyers are disinclined nb present to purchase ab anotion, our sale was not so largely attended as usual. A fair number of consumers were present, and secured all lots which were bid up to our valuations. We quote as follows : Oate. — The market is somewhat weaker, and values for all sorts are if anything a Bhade below those ruling last week. Good to best feed, ls 9_ to ls 9Jd ; medium to good, ls 7_d lolb Sd ; inferior, ls 6d to ls 7d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. — No change to report. Prime velvet. 3s lOd to 3s lld ; rfo Tuscan, 3s 7d to 3s 9d ; fowl feed, 3s bo 3s 3d per bushel (sacks m). Potatoes. —Arrivals hay* been numerous, and the market is now well supplied. Best Northern Derwents. L 2 15s to L 2 17« 6d ; medium, L 2 10s to 12 12s 6d ; kidney**, L 2 10* to L 3 pei ton (Backs m). Chaff. Supplies have been only moderate, and prime quality meets good inquiry. Best oaten sheaf, L 2 15s to L 2 17s 7d ; medium, L 2 10s to L 2 l*2s 6d per ton (bags extra). Turnips-— Fairly plentiful. Best Swedes, lis to 12s per ton (loose).
