Bullocks, which woro being taken to the show ground, stampeded this aftornoon on boing taken out of tho trucks. Ono madly rushed through St. Kilda and South Duiiodin, and in its carver rushed Mrs P. M'lndoo, who waa going along tho street, but Bho oscaped with a severe shaking. Tho animal was shortly afterwards shot by a member of tho N»ival Brigade A 10 roomod boarding houso at Quoenntown, belonging to G, T. Bryant, has boon destroyed by liro. Iho furniture wan saved. The insurance on tho house was LOOO in the National, Tho Colonial Treasurer arrived this ovening from tho north. Tho Premier and Minister for Linda loft the tniti at Shag Point, and Mr Seddon übnya at Mr M'Kenaie's roeidonce to-night, and corner to town to-morrow. Tho weather hag turnod cold, and rain showers full at intervals. There is ovory indication of bad weather for tho show and tho D.J.O. spring meeting, which both take place to-morrow.
