Arrived, this morning — Union Co.'c steamship Wakatipu, from Wellington. The following horses have been scratched for the St. Loger Stakes, to bo run at the Australian Jockey Club's meeting on Easter Monday : Clancaroy, Emulation, and Sonnambula. Heavy rain has fallen to-day in and around the city, und reports to tho sime effect have beon received from 32 observing stations throughout tho colony. Theie is no further intelligence of tho missing ship Minydon. Melbourne, April 5. Sailed, this afternoon— Union Co.'s steamship Ringarooma, for Bluff. Malting barley is steadier at 4s 4d to 4s 6d ; shipping wheat has advanced to 6s to 6s 3d, and is decidedly firmer ; New Zealand oats are improving, at 3s 9d to 3s lid for milling, and 3a 6d to 3s 8d for feeding.
