GREYMOUTH. February, 12.
A large mail bag, weighing about 140 pounds, was dropped from the mail coach near Nelson Creek, sixteen miles from Loton, while on transit to Greymouth. An active search has since been made, but without finding any trace. The police suspect certain parties. The bag contained a miscellaneous mail for all parts of the Colony.
