SEVERN WARD.
The adjourned meeting of ratepayers in this Ward did not come olf on Tuesday evening as advertised. Up to half-past 8 o'clock, when about a dozen were in attendance, none of those who were in possession of the resolutions to bo discussed, and who had taken a prominent part in the movement, had presented themselves ; and those who had come from a considerable distance to witness the proceedings accordingly left without having their wishes gratified, and certainly not in the best possible humor.
