Sunday was the tnirteentn aa\ >1 the month, and for two residents of the Mangonui County, that fact will long remain in their minds. These two men were both kicked by cows, one receiving a dislocated thumb, and the other suffering a broken bone in the forearm. One was Mr. R. Russell of burns and the other Mr. A. Erstich of Quarry Road. Such are the vagaries of fate and of dairy farming on the Devil’s Day.
