Mr. E. Stensness, formerly of the Kaitaia Road Services Depot, left the district on Wednesday on transfer to Tauranga. Mr. F. Holder travelled to Whangarei yesterday to attend a meeting of the N.A. Farmers’ Co-op., Ltd. Mrs. McLean of Birkdale, who has been spending a holiday with Mr. and Mrs. F. Holder, returned to her home by plane on Tuesday. Miss D. Atkins arrived home at the beginning of this week to spend her annual leave with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Atkins. Mrs. T. Hugo and infant son left by car yesterday morning for Auckland, where they will spend a few weeks’ holiday with Mrs Hugo’s parents. They travelled with Mr. W. Horsley, who is en route for Wellington to visit his mother, who is seriously ill. Mr. S. S. Green of Donnellys Crossing, Moderator of Northland Presbytery, is to be the guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Graham during the weekend. He will be the preacher at the Presbyterian Church services on Sunday.
