PATRIOTIC GARDEN FETE

A gala day was held in Oruru on March 28th, when the children of the Oruru School and their master held a garden party in the school grounds, the proceeds of which amounted to £l9. Cake, produce and jumble stalls were well patronised, prices sometimes being high, but the cause was a worthy one. Lunch and afternoon tea were served and an enjoyable time was spent by all present.
