Purely Personal Mr. R. H. Wilkie has returned from Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Murray left over the weekend on holiday. Mr. Wagner Snr. has returned from a holiday in the city. Constable G. Molloy left this morning for Auckland on a business visit. Mr. L. G. Dixon paid a visit to friends in Dargaville last weekend. Miss Rossborough has returned to Auckland after a visit to the district. Mesdames P. Foley, Balero, N. Masters and Irving are all visiting Auckland. Mr. W. Maria, who has been visiting his parents, has returned to Te Aroha. Misses H. and M. Kerr last weekend visited their parents in' the Dargaville district. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie White of Victoria Valley left on Monday morning for a holiday in the South. Month’s Births, Deaths and Marriages Births, deaths and marriages in Kaitaia over the past month have totalled 12, 3 and 4 respectively. Rainfall for May 5.57 inches of rain fell in Kaitaia during the month of May, there being--21 days on which rain fell. The heaviest daily fall was 1.08 inches. The competition which was decided over two rounds each of 18 holes handicap medal play was won by A. J. Mackintosh. The best cards returned over the 36 holes were as follows: Mackintosh 69-781147, Reynolds 73-76-149, Thompson 74-76-150, Dyer 75-80-155, Bellingham 73-86-159, Sharkey 79-81-160. Hawthorn who led the field in the Second Round did not play in the First Round. On Saturday next a Four Ball Stableford Handicap will be played, Seniors to be partnered by Juniors.
