From Our Correspondent at Waiharara

Dance in Aid of Red C In aid of the funds for the Red Cress Society, a dance was held in the Waiharara Hall last Saturday evening. Dance numbers were played by local boys and encores of their lively melodies were insistently demanded. Songs were also given by various members of the younger set. During an interval an enjoyable supper was served.

After supper Mr. Ljubo Srhoj took the opportunity of thanking those present for contributing towards the evening’s entertainment, and to announce that two guineas had been collected and would be sent to the Red Cross Society. Dancing brought an enjoyable evening to a close. Purely Persona! Messrs. L. Srhoj, A. Milich, A. Srhoj, M. Srhoj and L. Yelavich have left on a motor holiday to Auckland mid the South Mr. and Mrs. George Foley of Whangaroa are on holiday in the district.
