Assembly of Parliament Urged
Council Wires to Prime Minister When the Mangonui County Council met on Wednesday, it was unanimously decided to forward the following telegram to the Prime Minister. Moved by the Chairman and seconded by Cr. Holder the resolution was as follows : “In view of the seriousness of the war situation, this Council now sitting demands that Parliament assemble immediately in order that the House may give a definite lead tc the country in the present grave crisis.”
