Purely Personal Mr. Bernard Hick is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. E. Martin has returned to her home in Waimate after spending a holiday with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martin of Runaruna. Mrs. Wheeller of Runaruna is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Walter Eddington of Broadwod has left for a holiday to be spent in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. F. Shepherd and their two sons have returned after a holiday spent in Auckland. Miss J. Newman has returned to Auckland, where she will continue her studies at the Auckland Training College. Miss I. Dyer arrived from Auckland on Monday night for a short stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Dyer.
Miss B. Philip has returned from her holidays and commenced her duties at the Rotokakahi school. Miss Marie McKee has returned from her holidays. Golf During the weekend a Bogey match was played on the Broadwocd .inks. Mrs. F. Holland won the ladies’ section, 4 down ; Mr. Joe Julian being the winner of the men’s, all square.
