SETTLING THE SAAR QUESTION Overwhelming Majority for Re-Union with Germany The population of the Saar by an overwhelming majority has indicated its desire to be re-united to Germany. The plebiscite, which was taken last Sunday, resulted in 477,109 votes being cast for return to German rufe, 46,513 for remaining under the League of Nations government, and 2,124 for union with France.
