Kaitaia D.H. School Sports

Oti Saturday the finals in the Kaitaia District High School annual Athletic Sports were run, the various heats having been run during the week. The organisation and control of the sports was in the hands of the .school staff, under tlie head, Mr. A. H. Woods, assisted by members of the School Committee and officials of the Kaitaia Amateur Athletic Dlub. A feature of the day was the manner in which all the events were run off to time. A feature of the day was the running and jumping of Trevor Foley in the Junior Championships. This boy broke all school records, and the length he put Bp in the long jump, and the height in the high jump, will probably stay unbeaten on the record board of the school.
