Dairy Board’s Report The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office dated January 5, the previous week’s figures being given in parentheses : New Zealand—Salted, 65/ to 67/, exceptionally, 68/, equals approximately 7.46 d. f.o.b. (66/ to 68/) ; unsalted, 70/ to 72/ (70/ to 72/). Deliveries : New Zealand, 2700 tons (last year, 2134 tons); in store, 2721
tons (last year, 7050 tons). Australian —Salted, 64/ to 65/ (66/ to 68/). Deliveries: Australian, 1200 tons (last year, 1262 tons); in store, 2819 tons (last year, 3000 tons). The market is weak and irregular. New Zealand retail price reduced to 9d, Danish reduced to 1/. Argentine Unsalted, 66/ to 68/, exceptionally, 70/ (66/ to 70/). Danish—7l/ f.0.b., 95/ to 96/ spot (78/, 100/ to 102/). Dutch—Unsalted, 98/ to 102/ (100/ to 104/). Siberian—62/ to 63/. The market is slow. Mr. H. S. Withers has received the following advice from Mr. A. C. Rowson : Butter—First, 66/; finest, 67/. Cheese—White, 47/; coloured, 44/. The demand in both markets is steady.
