Birthday Party at Takahue.
A most enjoyable surprise 21st birthday party was tendered Miss Gertrude McCullough by the girls of the Takahue Presbyterian Bible Class, last Monday evening.
Over a hundred guests gathered in the Takahue Hall, and games and dancing were the order of the evening. During the function a lusty cake, made by Mr. Buckley and adorned with twenty-one kewpies, was partaken of. Miss McCullough was the recipient of a beautiful Xylonite mirror and trinket box. Rev. Martin and others made reference in happ#*speeches to the good work of the guest of the evening, connected with the Bible Class movement in the County. On behalf of hisdaughter Mr. McCullough suitably responded.
