THE DREDGE

Work on the local dredge is progressing very satisfactorily. The Wh’angatane Cut is completed, and the spill-way has been opened, thus giving full accees to the flood waters.

A good start has bee* made on the School cut, this is the final undertaking and will probably take three to four months to complete.
