Tom Heeney’s Price. Worth £IOO,OOO. So Says Tex Rickard. Trevor Wignall in the “Daily Mail” says the New Zealander Tom Heeney, is an outstanding instance ot boxing’s vagaries. He received such poor support in London that he was penniless and determined to give up the game and return home. His manager, Mortimer, suggested the United States visit and Heeney is row one of the most successful anti most popular boxers in the world. Tex Rickard has said it is quite possible that Heeney will fight Tmneyforthe championship in .1928.
