THE CATTLE TICK.
It is notified for public information that on and after September Ist next all tick-infested stock Ihorsesand cattle) being exposed for sale must be dipped within 30 hours before being yarded. Spraying will be authorized in lieu of dipping in the case of cow* near parturition *n condition that it is thoroughly carried out. Owners of stock running on farms and using the roads will be expected to do all that is reasonably possible to keep their stock free from cattle tick. It is intended to strictly enforce the provisions of the regulations, particularly in connection with sale and travelling stock, and to deal severely with any offenders.
