CHURCH NEWS.

On Sunday Evening, 27th inst, in the Northland Hall, Kaitaia, the Rev C.G. H. Bycroft will again conduct Service at 7.30. Coupled with the fine weather that obtained on Sunday, and the increasing interest taken in the bi-monthly services, and appreciation of the Rev C. G.H. Bycroft’s addresses here, another large congregation was present in the Northland Hall, Kaitaia, to hear the rev gentleman last Sunday afternoon. Taking as his text, Isiah3s: 8-10, the Rev Bycrott delivered a verv excellent address on the subject of “Highway,” the keynote throughout being the first incontrovertible fact that He who has declared himself to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life, is indeed the one and only Highway to God, to Heaven and to everlasting life for all Sinners willing to respond to the invitation, “ this is the way, walk ye in it.”
