Lord Kitchener’s Visit.
The date of Lord Kitchener’s arrival in New Zealand after his visit to Australia, about the end of this year, has been postponed. A telegram received from the Governor-General of Australia by Lord Plunket states that owing to the difficulty of making prompt connection by steamer between Japan and Australia, the Admirality being unable to provide a cruiser, the proposed itinerary will have to be delayed. Lord Kitchener undertakes to telegraph further information from Japan.
