The regular course of instruction comprises tho Latin, Greek, and French languages; Arithmetic, Mathematics, Geometry, and the Elements of Natural Science; Geography, History (Ancient and Modern), Writing, the English Language — its Grammar, Literature and Composition. In connection with this institution there are seven Scholarships open for competition as they become vacant (due public notice of which is given), viz :—: — three of £30 a year each, three of £20 a year each, and one of £10, variously tenable for from one to three years. Three of these— tho Newcome of £30, a Foundation of £30, and a Foundation of £10 per annum, respectively — are open to competition at the commencement of the ensuing term.
