Newland is rising five years old, stands sixteen hands and a half high, is a beautiful black, full of bone, with great^>ower, and fine temper, was got by that wellknown horse, Old Abraham Newland, and out of a prize mare, the property of Mr. M'Nab, Glenochil. Abraham Newland took the first prize at the Agricultural Show, Alloa, in the year 185S 5 also the first prize in 1854 ; he served a good many mares the last two seasons, aud ha 3 proved hiintelf a sure foalgetter. Covering Fee £5, and 7s. 6d. Groomage. Abraham Newlaud. will posititely serve this season only in the Province of Nelson. 11. The thorough-bred horse LAMPLIGHTER. Covering Fee, £3 35., and ss.
