NELSON GOLD MINING COMPANY.
At a meeting of the shareholders of this Company, hold at the Room of the Chamber of Commerce yesterday, D. Monho, Esq., in the chair, the following resolutions were passed : —
Proposed by Mr. Levien, and leconded by Mr. Wells — 1. " That twenty shares having been applied for, the Company be considered as formed provisionally. Proposed by Mr. Llewellyn Nash, seconded by Mr. Tn avers— 2. " Thnt each intending shareholder shall pay down the sum of ten pounds to meet expenses of a survey, on which an engineering report shall be prepared ; on receipt of which each shareholder shall have the privilege to withdraw from the Company, if he thinks fit, forfeiting his payment often pounds." Proposed by Mr. Travees, and seconded by Cuptain II ATS — 3. " Thnt Mr. Levien, Mr. Moore, and Mr. O. Curtis be the Provisional Directors of tho Company ; two to be a quorum. That Mr. Scaife be appointed Provisional Secretary, and Mr. Xerr the Provisional Treasurer." Proposed by Mr. Moore, seconded by Mr. Kerb — 4. " That the deposit of £10 per share be forthwith paid by the various intending shareholders." Proposed by Mr. Wells, seconded by Mr. Beit — 5. " That the Directors be requested forthwith to notify to the Provincial Government the establishment of the Company, and to obtain such authority to occupy the lands applied for as may enable the Company to comrienco operations without delay." Proposed by Mr. Tbayers, seconded by Mr. Llewellyn Nash — G. "That the Directors do forthwith obtain a report from one or more competent engineers as to the probable outluy necessary for establishing the works of the Company, and as far as possible upon the character of the land proposed to be leased." Proposed by Captain Hats, seconded by Mr. R. Aitken — 7. " That as soon O3 possible after the receipt of such deposit, the Directors submit the same to a meeting of the shareholders."
