HIS Honour the Superintendent, in accordance with the provisions of tho " Education Act, 1856," directs it to be notified, that he has appointed TUESDAY, the 29th day of June instant, at Twelve o'clock at noon, for the ELECTION of LOCAL COMMITTEES', and that the elections for the several districts shall be held at the following places, viz. : — For the district of the Town of Nelson, at the Court House, Nelson ; For the district of Suburban-north, at the Schoolhouse, Thackwood ; For the district of Suburban-south, at the Schoolhouse, Stoke ; For the district of Waimea-east, at the Schoolhouse, Richmond ; For the districts of Waimea-south, at the Schoolhouse, Spring Grove, and the Schoolhouse, Wakefield ; For the district of Waimea-we3t, at the Schoolhouse, Waimea-west ; For the district of the Moutere, at the Schoolhouge, Lower Moutere ; For the district of Motueka, at the Schoolhouse, Motueka ; For the district of Riwaka, at the Schoolhouse, Riwaka ; For the district of Motupipi, at the Schoolhouse, Motupipi. To complete the portions of the made road between the town-site and the highest elevation. To form about 75 chains of road near Section 57, Waitohi valley. To clear about 40 cliains of road on tho north side of the Koromiko stream.
