TAKAKA.

At the Takaka, now that the weather has improved, we are informed that the prospects are very promising ; the diggers are in excellent spirits, and confidently expect a large yield of gold. There were brought from this district, on Tuesday evening, by Mr. Spittal, over 22 ozs., and by Mr. Kerr, the manager of the bank, about 11 ozs. Both these specimen* were of an unusually fine quality.
