I j Land Sale. — A sale of land .took place at I 1 the Government offices on Thursday last, which realized about of which .£2OO j was paid in scrip. Most of the lots offered ! were taken at the upset price, but a small i piece of town land in Bridge-street, near the Eel Pond, which was put up at realised -£'115.
