PROPOSED CATTLE FAIR AT RICHMOND.
At a meeting held at the Star and Garter, Richmond, on Saturday, the 10th instant ; Mr. Sax ton in the chair,
Proposed by Mr. Otterson, seconded by Mr. Gibson —
1. That it is desirable that a Fair for the sale of Stock and Farm produce should be established at Richmond.
Proposed by Mr. Rowe, seconded by Mr. Stafford — 2. That the most suitable days would be the first Wednesdays in the months of March, July, and November respectively. Proposed by Mr. Bell, seconded by Mr. Paterson— «
3. That in accordance with the above, the fint Fair should take place on Wednesday, the 2d of July.
Proposed by Mr. Nixon, seconded by Mr. H. Martin —
4. That a subscription be entered into iv order to defray the preliminary expenses, and that Mr. Otteraon be requested to be the Treasurer. Proposed by Mr. F. Kelling, seconded by Mr. Ward —
5. That a Committee he appointed to make all the necessary arrangements for the ensuing year. Proposed by Mr. E. Gibson, seconded by Mr. H. Eliot—
6. That the Committee do consist of the following gentlemen, with power to add to their number: — Mr. Saxton, Mr. Stafford, Mr. Gibson, Mr. E. Gibson, Mr. Otierson, Mr. Nixon, Mr. Redwood, Mr. Stephens, Mr. Thorpe, Mr. Fell, Mr. Fearon, Mr. Mackay, Mr. W. G. Bell, Mr. F. Kelling, Mr. Rowe. Mr. Ward, Mr. Cautley, Mr. Schroder,. Mr. J. P. Taj lor, Mr. Barnicoat, Mr. Pfttenon, Mr. Kerr, Mr. H. Martin, Mr. H. Eliot.
