LOCAL INTELLIGENCE.
The Piscator, whose arrival we mentioned in our last, brought 300 fine sheep from Newcastle, which have been sold in a*lot at 15s. each. The Star of Ohina, which arrived on Monday from Sydney, had also a few sheep, brought to order. And we have been informed that a vessel laden with cattle and sheep had sailed from Sydney for New Plymouth, and that another had cleared out for this place.
We learn by Hobart Town papers that the Bella Marina sailed from that port on the 18th of May. As it is probable that she is the bearer of important despatches to the Company's Principal Agent, it •is more than likely that she proceeded direct to Wellington.
