SOLDIERS MAY TAKE LIQUOR FROM HOTELS
Soldiers in uniform will from now on be allowed to take liquor from hotel premises. It has been unlawful for them to do this during the war. An amendment to the Licensing Act Emergency Regulations, 1942, No. 2, published in last night’s Gazette, makes this legal.
