£435,813 FROM LICENSE FEES (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) Wellington. This Dav. License fees contributed £435,813 and interest £21.695 to th e revenue of the National Broadcasting Service for the year ended March 31 last, according to the annual report of the service Dresented in the House of Representatives. The revenue account for the year and the balance sheet for the national stations anoear in a Parliamentary paper which has yet to be presented. The report says that a further £170,000 was invested during the year to provide for future development and to overtake arrears of construction and equipment held up owing to the war. making a total of £1.570,000 now invested for this purpose. The commercial service reported a gross revenue of £°74,000, representing an increase of more than £16.000 over the previous year’s operations.
