New York. Aug. 27 The Navy Secretary. Mr Forrestal. announced that the Navy plans to preserve the carrier Enterprise for posterity as a war symbol. The carrier fought the Japanese since the beginning of the war travelled 275.000 miles in the Pacific and her guns and olanes shot down 911 planes- and sank 71 and probably sank 192 ships.
