ORDER OF VICTORY
AWARDED TO “MONTY” AND EISENHOWER London June 6. Moscow radio announced that the Soviet Government has awarded Russ: .’s highest award, the Order of Victory, to Field Marshal Montgomery and General Eisenhower “for outstanding successes in carrying out large-scale military operations, as a result of which victory of the United Nations was achieved over Hitlerite Germany.” General de Tassigny was awarded the Order of Zuvorov (first class).
