NO CONFIDENCE IN A.S.R.S. EXECUTIVE Westport, Oct. 3. A resolution of no-confidence in the national executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, including the general secretary. Mr L. Mcllvride, was passed by a special meeting of members of the Westport branch of the A.S.R.S. to-day. The meeting further adopted a resolution that Mr Mcllvride be called on to resign and recontest his seat. It was further decided that a telegram be sent to the national secretary asking whether the executive council would press for an all-round increase in pay of 6d an hour when the tribunal sits in Wellington in October. Failing a guarantee that the executive would do this, further action would be taken. —P.fi
