CHILDREN’S ART UNION TICKET

BOARD’S EXPLANATION “QUITE INADEQUATE” W.C.T.U. TO PROTEST TO MINISTER The buying of an Art Union ticket by the Hira school children, with the approval of the teacher, was discussed at the Nelson District Convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. It was decided to again write to the Nelson Education Board stating that the explanation previously offered by the board was considered quite inadequate.

The Convention also decided to write a letter of protest to the Minister of Education.
