WHAT ABOUT IT?
ITo the Editor! Sir.—ln view of the slow progress in the Victory Loan I deem it a duty to make an appeal to all those who can possibly subscribe to the Loon. It is not my business nor intention to tell citizens vhat they are to do with their money, but I do think that it is their moral obligation to subscribe where possible, be their subscription ever so small. There are three things I would like citizens to remember: — (1) That the Second N.Z.E.F. is considered to be one of the finest fighting bodies of men in the world, if not the finest. (2) That you are the fathers, mothers, sisters or brothers of these men. (3) That your money is required to help them back the attack. This appeal comes to you from a worker and it applies to all concerned, so what about it? I am, a worker and. returned soldier, First N.Z.E.F. A. L. DE PINA. Tahunanui, 29th September.
