AIR FORCE AWARDS
NEW ZEALAND PERSONNEL Wellington, This Day. His Excellency the Governor-General has announced that the King has been pleased to approve the following awards to personnel of the Royal New Zealand Air Force in recognition of gallantry and devotion to duty during air operations against the enemy in the South Pacific area:— Distinguished Flying Cross: Squadron Leader Theodore Jasper Mac Lean de Lange; R.N.Z.A.F.; Acting Squadron Leader Hugh Noel James, R.N.Z.A.F., Flight Lieutenant Robert Francis Hoyle, R.N.Z.A.F.; Flight Lieutenant Hubert Cameron Carter, R.N.Z.A.F.; Acting Flight Lieutenant Arthur George Stanley. R.N.Z.A.F. Distinguished Flying Medal: Flying Officer (formerly flight sergeant) lan Marshall Page, R.N.Z.A.F.; Flight Sergeant John Edwards, R.N.Z.A.F. His Majesty has also been pleased to approve the undermentioned award to a member of the ground staff in recognition of gallantry and devotion to duty: Military Medal: Corporal Leslie Vincent Yates.
