Broatlfoot (National, Waitomo) in the House of Representatives yesterday asked the Prime Minister whether, when the question of an all-weather port for the West Coast of the South Island was being considered, he would investigate the possibilities of completing the Glerhope-Inangahua railway so that the port of Nelson would become available for shipping coal and other produce from the West Coast.
