MINERS RETURNING TO WORK
Rugby, July 1. Mr Ickes, Secretary of State for the Interior, who lias taken over the coal mines on behalf of the Government, stated that 83 per cent, of bituminous miners and 39 per cent, of anthracite miners had returned to work. ■ Coal rationing was still a possibility.—P.A.
