RANGE OF PRICES Christchurch, Nov. 25. At the Addington market the values generally were easier to-day, the only exception in the principal classes being for prime fat sheep. Entries were slightly heavier in most sections. Store Sheep.—The entry was larger than last week and competition dragging. Wether hoggets eased by Is 6d a head. Best made to 24s (id and ewe hoggets to 25s 6d. Ewes and lambs, all counted, sold at 20s, adult wethers to 25s 4d, with the average from 17s to 20s. Fat Sheep.—The entry was slightly larger and there was a good sale for prime wethers and ewes, secondary ewes being cheaper. Best shorn wethers sold at from 35s to 35s 9d, light 27s to 325, best ewes 30s to 345, and prime medium weight 26s to 295. Fat Cattle. —The entry was again heavy, comprising 560 head, against 540 last week. The great bulk of the penning comprised indifferently finished steers with a much larger proportion than usual of light cows. A small proportion of outstanding cattle was sold at an easing of about 15s a head, but all other classes were down by as much as 20s. Best beef made from 47s to 49s a 1001 b, medium to heavy from 41s 6d to 465, ordinary to 395, and cow beef down to 33s per 1001 b. Pigs.—Pennings of porkers and baconers were the heaviest of the season and there was a sharp relapse in values. Values for porkers were down by 10s a head and heavyweights by 4s. Bacon values were down by 15s to 255. Porkers made from £2 4s 6d to £3 17s 6d, an average price per lb of 8d to 9d. Baconers brought £3 14s 6d to £4 19s 6d, an average price per lb of 6sd to 7$d —P.A.
