WAIROA GORGE FARM
Ili on a sheep farm in the Wairoa Gorge, eight miles from Brightwater, with Mother, Father, six sisters and one brother. We have fifteen chickens and ten fowls. We also have a foal, a calf, a lamb, two pups, and two rabbits. The foal’s name is Molly, the calf Judy, the lamb Beauty, one pup is Bill and the other Eddie. We have not got any name for the rabbits yet. —Gwenda Harman, Brightwater.
