MAN CRUSHED TO DEATH

FIRE AT SYDNEY IRONWORKS Sydney, June 12. A fireman was crushed to death under tons of red hot iron and steel and another suffered a severe electric shock in a fire which damaged part of the hardware manufactury of R. B. Davies, Limited, last night. The ironworks covers acres of ground and has more than 600 employees. A fracture in the oil pipe line is believed to have started the fire.—P.A.
