OBITUARY

MR STANLEY CRESSWELL The death of Mr Stanley Cresswell, occurred suddenly at Stoke last Wed- i nesdav. Mr Cresswell, who was aged 54 years, went to work as usual on the orchard where lie was employed and expired suddenly. He formerly resided at Tahunanui, where lie was a prominent worker for the Labour movement. He was a member of the Nelson Toe H. Some years ago lie was engaged in boat-building at Stoke, his workshop being at the western end of Station road. The late Mr Cresswell was a keen follower of the game of hockey and was a supporter of the Stoke Club
