( RASH WHILE NIGHT FLYING IN TARANAKI Wellington, This Da,y Two members of the R.N.Z.A.iv both from Auckland, were killed whet their aircraft on night training crashed near Waitara at 9.45 last night. They were: Flight Lieutenant Harold ('utk&er Wiles, aged 32. married, eldest san o Mr H. O. Wiles. Lucerne Road. Auckland. Leading Aircraftman Norman Wil liani \\ ilson, ag« d 25 on ol M W. Wilson. Kiwi Road. Dcvonport. Flight Lieutenant Wiles was an ole boy of Auckland Grammcr School anc was a keen club flyer and a membo; of the territorial air force before tin war. He was stationed at Ohake; till recently. I\A.
