CRICKET UMPIRES’ ASSOCIATION
l UTH ANNUAL MEETING There was a small attendance at the fifth annual meeting of the Nelson Cricket Umpires’ Association. Mr C. A. Exton was elected to the chair. The association was pleased to welcome Mr T. S. Handcock, R.N.Z.A.E., as a member. The annual report and balance sheet were read and approved. The election of officers resulted: Chairman, Mr C. A. Exton; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr L. M. Gray; delegate to N.C.C.A.. Mr C. A. Exton. It was decided to request Mr J. R. Stevens to act on the appointment committee with Messrs C. A. Exton and the secretary. The annual report stated that the roll stood at 14 active members.
