STRIKE THREAT
SEAMEN IN UNITED STATES \e w York, Sept. 22. The Seafarers' International Union has replied to the Government's seizure of three strike-bound ships by declaring that it will order a strike of the whole 20.000 men forming its membership. if the Government repeats the seizures. Nineteen ships are already involved in the strike, but the union’s threat would involve the dislocation ( f 25 east coast shipping companies engaged in foreign and domestic services—U.P. A.
