The effect of ju ice stabilisation on electric power boards was discussed in a letter received by the Waitemaln Electric Power Hoard from the Electric Power Boards and Supply Authorities Association. It was stated that in the meantime it appeared that the price at which ele< he stabilised under the Price Stabilisation Emergency Hey,illations, probably at points in operation to-day, and that if any rise in price was required by any authority at a later dat it would have to come before the Price Investigation Tribunal. However, in the event of a rise in price being agreed to by the tribunal the difference would be met by u Government subsidy and an order would be made restraining the power board or supply authority making application from actually raising its prices In other words, stated the association where previously authority would was understood that under the new arrangement this would be withheld ted P.
