j CORRESPONDENCE TO CANADA Wellington, This Day. j The Postmaster-General, Mr P. Webb, j announces a reduction in the air mail i rate on correspondence forwarded to ! Canada by the trans-Pacific and Irans- | United States airmail services. Froir. j 11th September the postage rate on | such correspondence will be 4s per half I j ounce. Previously correspondence j ! which senders desired to be conveyed !by airmail all the way to Canada rej quired to be paid for at the rate of : 5s per half ounce, the 4s rate ensuring ' airmail conveyance only as far as the i United States. In the future for all airmail for the United States and Canada forwarded from New Zealand by the trans-Pacific service there will be one rate only, of 4s per half ounce. —P.A.
