ANGLO-SOVIET TERMS CONSULATES TO BE CLOSED GERMAN NATIONALS TO BE HANDED OVER I • Hoc. 11.40 a.m.) Rugby. Sept. 9. The Foreign Office announces that the British Minister in Teheran, Sir R. W. Bullard, this morning received a ! Note from the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs stating that the Iranian Government had accepted the terms j f-ut forward by the British and Soviet : Governments. The terms include the closing of the , German. Italian, Rumanian and Huni parian Legations, and the handing over i o-; German nationals in Iran to the British and Soviet authorities. The hope is expressed in authoritative circles in London that the ac- , ceptance of the terms will prove to be 'an indication that the Iranians have j Anally understood that their interests pie in full co-operation with the Allies, lit is already recognised by manv larseeing Persians what lies ahead of them.
