SPIES EXECUTED
LANDED BY SEAPLANE OFF SCOTLAND 'Rec. 9.0 a.m.) London, Aug. 6. Two enemy secret service agents were executed to-day after a trial before a judge and jury. Both were represented by counsel. It is stated that because of prompt , official action neither of the men was i at large in this country for more than ; a few hours. They were landed by i seaplane off the coast of Scotland and ! transferred to a collapsible rubber . boat. They tried to sink the boat, but I failed. I Both men carried suitcases, wireless transmitting and receiving stations and an ample supply of English money. They separated and made for railway stations. A few hours later one aroused the suspicions of a stationmaster when consulting a timetable. The rubber boat was later seen off the coast and a police search resulted i-: the second man being caught near Edinburgh. —U.P.A.
